Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh ""Osho"", Indian free love guru, modern mystic and controversial cult figure, died in Pune at the age of 58 years. He will be remembered as a great orator and for founding of Rajnishpuram in USA.

10/14/1930The Flag of Freedom' or 'Swaraj Toran' a feature film produced by Prabhat Film Co.Kolhapur was prohibited by the Censor Board on October 14, 1930 on the grounds that it was objectionable in the existing political situation. The film, however, was cleared only after deleting certain portions and the title changed to 'Udaykal'.

5/19/1904Jamshedji Nasarvanji Tata, famous industrialist and father of modern technology, passed away at Nauheim, Hesse-Nassau, France. He commenced cotton mills in Bombay and Nagpur and founded the Tata Iron and Steel Company, which is one of the largest integrated steel mills in the world.
