2/14/1929 | Devendra Lal was born in Varanasi. He made extensive studies of meteorites of Lunar rocks brought by the Apollo and Luna Missions and of material from the Ocean bed. One of his most significant findings is that the intensity of cosmic rays during the last few million years has been the same as it is today.
